The headache in dialysis patients

The headache is a very common symptom in dialysis patients and it always plagued the patients. So, what cause the headache in the patients and how to deal with it?

There are three reasons cause the headache in the dialysis, respectively the dialysis imbalance syndrome, severe hypertension and cerebral vascular accident. In addition, the patients with long-term drinking coffee history will be easily to have the headache, because during the dialysis the coffee will make the blood concentration decreased.

In face of these reasons, the first thing we need to do is to make clear about the pathogency and be sure the causes then take intervene for the cause. If you find the causes are not the cerebral vascular accident and other intracranial lesion, then you can use the p-acetamidophenol to get a relief.

Although most of the dialysis patients have the headache, but in fact, this phenomenon can be avoided, the key is to take appropriate measures based on the incentive. Such as, the patients can slow down the blood flow in the beginning of the hemodialysis, use bicarbonate dialysis, also including the application of low sodium dialysis and taking regular dialysis. No matter which kind of methods you taking, it need to focus on the root cause.
