Is Renal Intoxication the Cause of Kidney Failure

http://www.crf-cure.com/FAQ/51.html

Kidney failure is a common and frequently-occurring disease which severely threats patients’health. With the increase incidence of kidney failure, more and more people pay attention to the pathogeny of kidney failure. Then is renal intoxication the cause of kidney failure?
Experts indicated that there are two common causes of kidney failure:
Renal intoxication
Renal toxic substances, such as drugs: sulfanilamide, carbon tetrachloride, mercurial, bismuth, dichlorphenamide; antibiotics: polymyxin, vancomycin, kanamycin, gentamicin, cephalosporin I, cephalosporin II, neomycin, amphotericin B, diodone, methoxyflurane; biotoxin: snake venom, bee venom, cantharidin could cause acute tubular necrosis under certain conditions.
Renal ischemia  http://www.crf-cure.com/FAQ/51.html

Serious renal ischemia, such as severe trauma, extensive burns, major surgery, massive blood loss, obstetric hemorrhage, serious infection, septicemia, dehydration and electrolyte balance disorders, especially accompanying shock are all easy to cause acute tubular necrosis.
In addition, hemoglobin discharged by intravascular hemolysis(such as black water fever, favism, oxidation of arsenic poisoning) and myohemoglobin of flesh wound(crush injury, muscle inflammation) would damage renal tubules and cause acute tubular necrosis when they are excreted through kidneys.
Hope you good health!
